Intellgent Services Hub

The nexgenda Intelligent Services Hub (ISH) acts as a broker between the following components:

  • Command Station
  • blackray Search Engines
  • Electronic Media Gateways
  • International Connect

The ISH supports load sharing and automatic failover of multiple servers, allowing for planned and unplanned server outages without interruption in service.

Customization and extension of functionalities are available to clients.

blackray Search Engine

The main data source for the nexgenda directory services platform is contained within the blackray extreme performance search engine. blackray is designed for the following criteria on regular PC hardware:

  • 150 Million Subscriber entries
  • 250 Million communication addresses
  • Sustained rate of 100 Queries per second
  • 99.9% queries below 1 second

blackray supports 99.999% data availability with seamless data updates.

Scalability and Operational security are provided via advanced clustering options.

Electronic Media Gateway

The Electronic Media Gateway /EMG) serves as an Interface between various electronic media standards and the Intelligent Services Hub. EMG supports sending of messages via the following electronic media via the specified protocols:

Sending:

  • SMS (EMI/UCP, SOAP/HTTP)
  • MMS (MM7 VAS/HTTP)
  • Email (SMTP)
  • Fax (via IVS)

The EMG allows advanced processing of media using a JavaScript-based template engine and is able to create PDF (for email and fax) and HTML/XML documents (email, mms)

Additional protocols can be added by customer request.

International Connect

The nexgenda platform is capable of connecting to various data sources using industry standard protocols. The following protocols are supported

  • E.115v1 (2000 edition)
  • E.115v2 (2007 edition)
